Skyline trail (trail #6) in Gatineau Park is one of the few trails that offer up an eastern facing lookout to catch the sun rise. My favourite of course is hiking Manitou Mountain in the winter for a sun rise over the valley, but this, this trail is a quick and easy win.

We walked all the way to the Boggs Visitor Center and then also hiked 5/5(25).Trail Map Directions to the trail. Head west along Cameron Blvd/Hwy Pass under the bridge and travel straight through the roundabout.

excellent trail conditions: 3 inches of snow in places but most was packed by a snowmobile. signs marked every questionable fork in the trail so you don't get lost.

mostly a tree tunnel but nice views pop up regularly. beautiful aspen stands and open pine glades. stopped for lunch at BT 2 on a point in pierce lake, situated in a birch glade /5().
